I really wanted to like this, when I first tried it on, I kind of did. The style was cute and it fit well, but the fabric just felt cheaper than I expected for the price. It was thin and a little rough, which surprised me. After one wash, it already looked worn and slightly stretched out. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I’m not sure I’d order from karenkane.com again unless something was on a really good sale.

So, I ordered a black top from karenkane.com, and somehow they sent me something in a totally different color and size. Like, the packing slip actually had my order listed correctly, so I’m not sure how it got mixed up.

Now I have to go through the whole return process and wait all over again, which is just, you know, really frustrating. For the price, I kind of expected them to at least get the item right, especially for a first order.

Trying to return my order was way more annoying than it needed to be. The instructions weren’t super clear, so I kept having to double-check things myself and figure out what to do next. Not smooth at all! It’s a shame because the clothes are cute, but this whole process definitely makes me think twice about ordering again.

I was ready to place my order, but then I saw the shipping fee give me a break. It felt way too high for what I was buying.

I bought this dress and, after only two washes the seams were already starting to come loose. I mean, for the price, I expected it to hold up way better. Disappointed, to be honest, and I wouldn’t say it was worth it.

I returned a dress and spent more time stressing about the refund than I needed to. Once they received it, the money showed up a few days later, which was quicker than I expected. My only regret is not keeping a closer eye on the process, because the return updates weren’t super clear

I don’t know, the clothes were fine, but the prices just felt kind of high for what you actually get. I ended up finding really similar stuff elsewhere for a lot less, so… yeah, I probably won’t order from here again.

I’ve ordered from Karen Kane a handful of times because I do actually like a lot of the styles, like the flowy tops, the casual pants, the easy dresses, and those pieces that look nice without trying too hard. But the sizing has been such a headache that it makes me hesitate every time I add something to my cart.
For example, I’ll get one medium top and it fits loose and comfortable, almost like a large, then I’ll order another medium top and it’s snug in the arms or tight across the chest. Same thing with pants: one pair fit perfectly right out of the bag, another pair in the same size was tight in the waist, too long in the legs, and weird around the hips. I’ve had a blouse fit great, a sweater feel oversized, and a pair of pants make me wonder if I accidentally ordered from a totally different brand.

The returns are fine, so it’s not like I’m stuck with everything, but I really don’t want to keep boxing things up, printing labels, dropping packages off, and reordering two sizes just to see what works. Online shopping already feels like a gamble sometimes, and with this brand it feels like guessing on tops, pants, dresses, and even relaxed styles. I just wish the sizing was more consistent because I’d probably order more often if I could trust it.

I’m still waiting on a exchange, and it’s been such the hassle. I thought it would be a simple process, but I haven’t gotten much of an update yet.

So... I reached out to customer service and never got a reply. I just ended up waiting around with no update, which was frustrating.

I ordered this dress because it looked like a soft olive in the photos, which is exactly what I wanted. When it arrived, though, it was much more of a dark brown-gray shade. I even went back and checked the pictures on two different screens, and they still looked totally different from what I received. The fit was fine, but I bought it for the color, so I’m disappointed. Returning it is a hassle too. i had a slight feeling the color might be risky when ordering online, and I probably should’ve trusted that instinct
